Social Responsibility
Interstate Distributor Co. joined SmartWay Transport Partnership as a founding member in 2004 to help reduce emissions and conserve fuel. Because of our practices we are currently rated 1.25 which represents outstanding environmental performance by the SmartWay Transport Partnership and the EPA. This means that we are among those carriers who are utilizing commercially available fuel saving strategies and are actively evaluating the latest emerging technologies.
In addition to the environment we are also committed to the communities in which we operate. We support several non-profit organizations in local areas and encourage and support our employees’ participation in non-profit events of their choice.
