Intermodal Customer Service Representative PT Fri-Mon - Tacoma, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective relationships with regional customers
  • Leverage a deep understanding of regional customers businesses needs
  • Document and maintain reports on regional customer service
  • Solicit customers to maximize profitable business opportunities
  • Coordinate communication to meet customer expectations and meet utilization needs

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or a combination of 1-3 years of education and experience
  • 1 to 3 years of customer service related experience and/or training
  • Experience communicating with customers using the telephone
  • Knowledge of D.O.T., equipment requirements, Safety issues, and Hazardous Material
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry, preferred
  • Knowledge of geographic locations with the ability to understand time and distance factors
  • Ability to work with a variety of other departments
  • Demonstrates above average organizational skills to effectively handle multiple priorities with short deadlines
