The Truckload Carrier Association each year recognizes the top fleets in North America for safety performance based upon the fewest number of DOT recordable accidents per million miles driven. The TCA has announced that Interstate will receive the Third place award in the category of fleets that run over 100 million miles per year. This recognition clearly defines Interstate as one of the safest fleets in North America.
“We are a safety first company and we want to thank each and every Interstate associate for the continued commitment to safety.” says Interstate CEO, Marc Rogers. “Each and every Interstate associate contributes to safety. From our drivers, to our mechanics, to our office staff, we wouldn’t be successful without them.”
Scott Manthey, VP of Safety at Interstate, says “The focus is to ensure that we are doing everything we can to make sure our drivers and those we share our roadways with get home safely. It takes a lot of people doing a lot of things right to have a safety culture like the one we are continuing to build at Interstate.”Posted by intd on January 13, 2015 | Categories: News.
